John H. Soffietti, MD. Dr.
Soffietti has been with PBS Mental Health Associates since 1984. He is
a graduate of Syracuse University and attended SUNY Upstate Medical Center,
where he received his medical degree. Dr. Soffietti completed his
internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh and is board
certified in General Psychiatry, with Added Qualifications in Addiction and
Geriatric Psychiatry.
Dr. Soffietti serves as Medical Director of
both the Butler Regional Recovery Program at Butler Memorial Hospital and
the General Psychiatry service at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
In addition to his specialty interests, Dr. Soffietti works closely with
child and adolescent clinicians at PBS Mental Health Associates, providing
evaluation, consultation, and supervision.
Following the retirement
of founder F. Gordon Foster, MD, in 2002, Dr. Soffietti and Dr. Handler have
served as managing partners of PBS Mental Health Associates.
